The final day of the High 5 Womens Futsal League was a very big success.
In the morning the games for place 5 till 8 were played.
GK Sipag ended on 7th place and Umak lost from Circulated FC so they became respectively 6th and 5th
Afternoon we started with a very nice and good game between RTU and PWU. It showed me again that the Philippines have many young talents. PWU won and ended on the third place.
The final, between Azzurri FC and Tuloy FC started with Azzurri missing one of their key players; she was not allowed to play because her University had to play the Football Finals so they started as the underdogs. Tuloy FC dominated and that was also shown in the final score.
Conclusion: After three months I saw a very nice and good competition.
But we need to continue and hope that the Futsal community here in the Philippines, especially with the upcoming World Cup in November 2025, realizes that everyone must make sacrifices for the preparation of the National Team.
The last AFF tournament, with most players from this league, showed that they can compete with other countries.
