Last week I was in Cambodia to conduct the Futsal Basic course.
After the first day I spotted that the participants had a lot more to offer than basic so I could easily gear up and dig deeper in the Futsal matter. The participants were all assistants and head coaches of Futsal clubs but unfortunately there is no official league in Cambodia. So all leagues and tournaments are set up outside of the federation.
That’s sad because with these coaches and players I saw during the course, they could easily set up a national team. So that’s the challenge for the Technical Director who came at the last day and was asking for help to create a bright future for Futsal in Cambodia.
For me it was a pleasure to conduct this course and hopefully the promises of the TD will become reality.
Now I’m back in Manila to continue my work for The Henry V Moran Foundation and the ongoing Futsal league(s) where I play with my Pinay5 team in the womens league for the championship.
